Bad Bunny has drawn a record crowd to London’s 90,000-seat Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, marking the largest audience for a Latin music act in British history. The Puerto Rican star performed to a sold-out venue on Friday night, part of his Most Wanted Tour, which has been breaking attendance records across Europe. UK Music, the industry body representing the commercial music sector, welcomed the event as evidence of the growing global reach of Latin pop.
“This is not just a concert. It is a signal that the British market is becoming a destination for non-English language artists at scale,” said a spokesperson for UK Music. The performance, which ran for over two hours, featured tracks from his album Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana as well as earlier hits.
Ticket sales for the London date were reported to have exceeded 80,000, outstripping previous records held by other international acts. The stadium’s capacity was fully utilised with additional seated sections opened to meet demand. Industry analysts note that the success reflects broader trends in music consumption, with streaming platforms enabling global audiences to discover Spanish-language artists.
Bad Bunny, who topped Spotify’s global charts for three consecutive years, has been a key beneficiary of this shift. The London show also attracted significant secondary ticket market activity, with resale prices peaking at several times face value. Local hospitality and transport providers reported increased business around the stadium, with the event contributing an estimated £10 million to the local economy.
Bad Bunny’s tour continues next week with dates in Madrid and Barcelona. The artist has not commented on the record, but his management confirmed that UK dates for a future tour are under discussion.
