A British man is dead after a paragliding accident in Spain’s Costa del Sol, sources confirm. The victim, in his 40s, crashed near Benalmádena on Tuesday afternoon. Emergency services pulled him from the wreckage, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Foreign Office has now issued a travel warning, advising UK nationals to exercise caution with adventure sports abroad. Uncovered documents show this is the third fatal paragliding incident involving Britons in Spain this year. The company operating the flight has not commented.
A full investigation is underway. The man’s family has been informed. We are following the money and the bodies.
More to come.
