Sabrina Carpenter, the American singer and actress, has been granted a restraining order in London after a stalker appeared at her residence in the capital. The High Court issued the order on Thursday, citing evidence of persistent harassment and a direct threat to personal security. The Metropolitan Police confirmed the individual, a 34-year-old man, had been arrested and charged with stalking under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997.
Legal experts have praised the UK's robust legal framework for addressing such cases, noting that it provides swift injunctive relief. Carpenter, who has been residing in London for work, is expected to return to the United States imminently. Her representatives declined to comment further, citing ongoing legal proceedings.
