The strikes, which targeted military infrastructure in the suburbs of the capital, mark the first time Ukrainian forces have achieved such deep penetration.
A senior Ukrainian military official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told this newspaper: "The UK systems changed the game. They bypassed electronic warfare measures that neutralised our older drones."
