Sources confirm that Ukrainian drone strikes have reached the Moscow region, with UK-supplied systems proving decisive in the operation. Uncovered documents and battlefield reports indicate that the British-made drones, part of a covert aid package, have demonstrated unprecedented effectiveness against Russian air defences. The strikes, which targeted military infrastructure in the suburbs of the capital, mark the first time Ukrainian forces have achieved such deep penetration.
A senior Ukrainian military official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told this newspaper: "The UK systems changed the game. They bypassed electronic warfare measures that neutralised our older drones."
The Ministry of Defence in London declined to comment on specific capabilities but reiterated its support for Ukraine's right to self-defence. However, leaked internal briefings suggest that British officials are alarmed by the escalation, fearing a direct confrontation with Moscow. The Kremlin has condemned the strikes as "
terrorist acts" and warned of retaliation. Yet the unspoken reality is clear: the UK's technology has shifted the balance of power, and the war has now arrived at Russia's doorstep.
As one defence analyst put it: "The battlefield superiority is not just proven it is indisputable. The question is how Moscow will respond."
